The short version. WaCha.Net is a watch-party service: you paste a video link, we create a room, and everyone in that room sees the same video at the same time and can chat about it. To make that work we store the room, the video link, and the chat messages sent in it. If you register, we store a username, an email address, and an avatar choice. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising networks or behavioural trackers on the site, and we do not build profiles of what you watch to market to you.
What we cannot control is the video players themselves. When you watch a YouTube, Rumble, BitChute, or Spotify embed inside a room, that company sees the playback and applies its own privacy policy. See Section 6.
WaCha.Net (the "Site" or the "Service") is operated by US Support LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), a Nevada limited liability company. This policy explains what information the Service handles, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to https://WaCha.Net and the pages and endpoints served from it.
We have tried to keep this list exhaustive rather than vague. Everything the Service stores about you falls into one of the categories below.
Messages you send in a room are stored in our database along with the room, the sending account or guest identity, and a timestamp, so that they can be delivered to the room and shown in its history. Do not put anything in chat that you would not want the other people in that room, or anyone they later invite, to read.
Like any website, our web server writes standard access logs. These typically record the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the HTTP status, the referring page, and the browser's user-agent string. These logs exist for operations, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. The application itself does not attach your IP address to your account, your rooms, or your chat messages.
You can start and join rooms without registering. When you do, we create a temporary guest identity: a random name
such as Guest_a1b2c, a randomly assigned avatar, and an internal placeholder email that is never a real
mailbox. No password is usable on a guest identity and it cannot be logged into.
Guest identities that have been inactive for 24 hours are deleted automatically by a scheduled cleanup job. Chat messages sent by a guest may remain in the room's history after the guest identity itself is removed, shown under the guest name that sent them.
We use what we collect only to run the Service:
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not perform automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you.
We use a single session cookie, set by PHP, that identifies your browser session so the Service can tell your requests apart from someone else's. It is configured as HTTP-only (not readable by scripts), secure (sent only over HTTPS), and SameSite=Lax (not sent along with cross-site form posts). It carries a random session identifier. It does not carry your password or your personal details.
Your browser may also hold small amounts of data locally to remember interface preferences within a room. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking our session cookie will prevent you from logging in, joining rooms, or sending messages, because the Service has no other way to recognise your session.
Third parties whose players or scripts run on our pages may set their own cookies. See the next section.
This is the part of the Service you should read most carefully, because it is the part we do not control.
WaCha.Net does not host, upload, store, or transcode video. A room works by embedding a player from the platform the video already lives on. Depending on the link you paste, that may be:
When that player loads, your browser connects directly to that company. It can see your IP address, what you played, how long you watched, and, if you are signed in to that platform in the same browser, that it was you. That activity is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We receive no viewing data back from them.
We also rely on a small number of other third-party services to serve the Site:

Links posted in chat may lead anywhere on the internet. Following one takes you to a site with its own practices, and we are not responsible for what happens there.
A watch party is a shared space. Other people in a room can see the name and avatar you are using, that you are present in the room, every message you send, and the video that is loaded. If a room is marked public and listed, its name and the video currently playing appear in the public rooms guide and can be seen by anyone visiting the Site. Marking a room private, or setting a room password, limits who can join, but it does not make the room's contents confidential from the people who are in it.
Anyone with a room's link or code may be able to join it, subject to those settings. Treat a room link as something you share deliberately.
We do not sell your information. We disclose it only in these situations:
The Service is served over HTTPS. Passwords, recovery keys, and security question answers are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Database queries use prepared statements. Forms and state-changing requests are protected with CSRF tokens, message sending and login attempts are rate-limited, and session cookies are set HTTP-only, secure, and SameSite=Lax.
That said, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You play a part too: keep the credentials file you downloaded at registration somewhere safe, do not reuse it elsewhere, and do not share room passwords with people you do not trust. If you lose both your password and your recovery key, we cannot restore access to the account. That is a consequence of not storing them in readable form.

Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a US state with a comprehensive privacy law such as California, you may have additional statutory rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front. To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 15; we will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.
The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to register an account, as set out in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We operate from the United States, and our servers are located there. If you use the Service from another country, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your own jurisdiction. By using the Service you consent to that transfer and to processing under this policy.
We may update this policy as the Service changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to give notice on the Site. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
